Since her death more than 35 years ago, Maria Callas remains one of the most fascinating opera divas and performing artists in history. From her early days in the United States and Greece to her extraordinary career around the world, Callas changed opera forever. In Terrence McNally’s award-winning play Master Class, discover the woman during the backdrop of her historical master classes at the Julliard School of Music in the 1970s. Broadway legend, Lisa Vroman (visit her website), stars in the role of Maria Callas. Among Ms. Vroman’s many Broadway credits are Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables.
